Us2U - We commit to:
- prepare you fully for the trip beforehand
- give you ideas for fundraising
- involve you in all decision making, where it is possible and appropriate
- treat you with respect
- keep you safe at all times as far as it is in our power and ability to do
- arrange somewhere safe and acceptable for you to stay
- provide exciting opportunities for you to get involved in the local community and make a difference
- support you when you get back home as you readjust to life in the UK
- work alongside your support network at home, before, during and after the trip to help make it a really meaningful time
U2Us - You commit to:
- listen to us and do what you are asked to do
- work hard to raise funds before you go (there is a minimum amount that you must raise to be able to go on the trip)
- work hard on the team
- be honest about any difficulties you are having so we can support you
- treat all team members, team leaders, project partners and everyone else with respect
- attend all pre and post-travel meetings
- sign and adhere to the code of conduct
- agree to having a police check done on you before acceptance on the trip (NB a police record does not mean you can’t take part, so don’t be put off by this bit)
